After three years of Manoukian’s presidency, the textile industry is back at the helm of Confindustria Como: the association of industrialists in the Como region has in fact chosen Gianluca Brenna as its new number one.
The General Council approved the Nomination Commission’s proposal: Brenna, president and CEO of Stamperia di Lipomo, will be Manoukian’s successor. At this point Brenna must present his programme of activities and propose the names of the vice-presidents and directors in charge to be submitted for final approval by the General Assembly of Confindustria Como.
Gianluca Brenna, 61, has been with the family business since 1988. He is currently in his second term as deputy chairman of Confindustria Como with responsibility for “Business economics, subsidiaries and alliances” and deputy chairman of Confindustria Como’s Textile Sector Group, of which he is chairman for the two-year period 2020/2021.
He is also a member of the General Council of Confindustria and a representative of Confindustria Como at Sistema Moda Italia, where he holds the position of vice president welfare.
