1963
Company foundation

Enrico Pucci founded Manifattura Lane Pucci in the hills of Prato. Thus was born a family business dedicated to the production of wool and alpaca yarns.

1960s
First steps

Riccardo Pucci, Enrico's brother, joined the company as a partner. Production is artisanal and the markets cover Tuscany and upper Lazio. The first investments were made in spinning and hank dyeing.

1980s
Technology and style

Comb spinning is introduced and fancy twisting machinery is added, expanding creativity and production efficiency.

1990s
Excellence in dyeing

In 1992, the fancy twisting system was introduced into production.
Fabrizio Pucci, Enrico's son, joined the company, strengthening family continuity.
In 1996, printing and dyeing machines were added to the company.

2000s
New Generations

In 2004, Stefano Pucci, Riccardo's son, joined the company. Investments in key departments are intensified to respond to market demands with tailor-made solutions.
In 2010 the dyeing department was completely renovated with the purchase of new machinery.

2020s
New Horizons

After graduating in Law, Filippo Pucci, Fabrizio's son, joined the company. The family continues to lead Manifattura Lane Pucci into the future, maintaining a high level of quality and craftsmanship.

KEEPING UP WITH TRENDS SINCE 1963

Manifattura Lane Pucci was founded in 1963 in the hills overlooking Prato, in the heart of theTuscan-Emilian Apennines.

In the early years of our history, production was based on wool and alpaca yarns for knitwear and accessories, which were then processed by hand. The target markets were limited to the Tuscany region and partly to some areas of upper Lazio.

At the turn of the 1960s and 1970s, we made significant investments to improve our production: we installed a first spinning mill and a hank dyeing mill, the defining element of our production cycle.

Over time, we have improved the quality of our yarn production, focusing on stylistic creativity and production speed.

In the early 1980s, we also introduced a new spinning preparation and comb spinning plant into our production department, which was later supplemented with new fancy twisting machinery.

Convinced of the importance of constant innovation, even today we continue to enrich our production department with new generation equipment to ensure high quality standards for our customers at all times.

The feather in our company’s cap is the dyeing department, which has gained more prominence since the mid-1990s with the introduction of a hank yarn printing machine.

The fashion and textile industry changes and evolves every year, and it has been essential for Manifattura Lane Pucci to stay current with trends and production processes in order to remain competitive.
